SUGAR Hair Removal

Destiny Derma Spa is a pioneer in sugaring hair removal! We were one of the first spas in northeast Ohio to offer this service. Sugaring is a safe, gentle, and effective solution to hair extraction which can lead to permanency. Sugaring is considered safe for all ages and skin types and will result in smooth, beautiful skin with less ingrown hairs and unnecessary discomfort than other epilation techniques. 

What is sugaring? Sugaring is a safe and ‘organic’ alternative to waxing. We use a sugar paste made of sugar, water, lemon juice. Unlike waxing, sugaring removes hair at the root every time. Sugaring is considered less painful than waxing because the mixture is heated to body temperature it does not adhere to healthy skin.

Who is it good for? Come one, come all! Sugaring is good for all skin types, especially sensitive skin.

How does it work? First we apply powder to dry the skin, then work our magic with the sugar mixture. Hair is removed in the natural direction of growth, resulting in less ingrown hairs and irritation.
